Support materials

Twig support materials provide clear and focused support for students in the classroom, as well as providing structure for independent study. Support materials provide an overview, while reinforcing the overall purpose of the experiment. Diagrams and worksheets are also located in the support materials tree.

The overview lists the key learning objectives of each experiment. Here you can read about the science behind the experiment. Find out the common misconceptions and what students should know by the end of the lesson with our experiment overview.

Diagrams:

Our diagrams help students to visualise the complex science behind the experiments. Available with and without labels, the diagrams serve as revision tools in the classroom. Diagrams can be perfect for independent learning.

Worksheets:

A series of questions:
  • The experiment: Test the students’ understanding of facts and concepts.
  • Beyond the experiment: Ask students to apply the experiment to real-world contexts.
  • Challenge: Higher level questions that require research.
